Danza's current body of work explores the disorienting, immersive, and often fleeting quality of the natural world. These works explore the ever-shifting relationships between color, shape, and subject; simultaneously evoking the child-like wonder of looking through a kaleidoscope and the immersive, fleeting beauty of nature. With degrees in both botany and studio art, Danza's work is underpinned by technical ability and an informed sensitivity to ecological relationships and natural histories. All pieces are 48 x 48 inches, acrylic on canvas.
